A Prophecy for all Women who Ever Felt Unloved.

I was driving back from Bristol to Birmingham and was praying and crying for the women who have left comments on the post "Humour versus the Holy Spirit". Not just them - but for the thousands of others I suspect are out there in the Christian world feeling desperate, lonely and unloved. Suddenly God put this song into my mind - "When You Believe" - the beautiful duet sung by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. I am not sure about secular songs being used in the prophetic - but I am prepared to take the risk! I felt a definite tug from the Holy Spirit about this and when I found the song and played it on my IPOD my tears increased. If this word can be taken and be used to set free then truly we will see miracles.

The song is here;

Every word is prophetic to me. I sense behind each word the heart beat of God and of Jesus Christ the true Man. Here's the lyrics;

Many nights we pray
With no proof anyone could hear
And our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understand
Now we are not afraid
Although we know theres much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we know we could

There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
Its hard to kill
Who know what miracle
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

In this time of fear
When prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
And now I am standing here
My hearts so full I cant explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought Id say

They dont always happen when you ask
And its easy to give in to your fear
Ohhhhh
But when youre blinded by your pain
Cant see you way safe through the rain
Thought of a still resilient voice
Says love is very near

There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail

Its hard to kill
Who know what miracle
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe

I hope this word means something to someone! I dedicate it to all daughters of Zion - my sisters in the faith - who have ever doubted and feared and wept at the dead of night when they thought no one was watching. You are deeply loved on high.

Thanks Dan for your heart to care for those who are hurting....this was a beautiful message and yes I believe you can use secular songs...God is the one who gifted those ladies in the first place, did he not?! Besides this song was used in the Movie, Joseph, or was is it Prince of Egypt?? Anyway, I hope to write a post myself in light of the comments made on your other blog.....Thanks for this!!

ah dan do you know how fortunate i feel. now the Holy Spirit is having prophecies for me, and for my fellow women, sisters, friends?! thank you for hearing from him and for stepping up to the plate and sharing this. i was crying unashamedly when i read and like dear lydia - yes DEFINATELY God can speak through songs!

I listened to a Rob Rufus message from Brighton on my MP3 player while I went running (I pretended it was a growing family seminar) but he said that the secular songs only came out in flood in the 60's because the church didn't claim that flood of glory! Or something - hope I got that right.

but again thank you thank you thank you. I can't express how much this means.
